The Board of Rock & Sling Press is most pleased to announce:
Rock & Sling has a new home – Whitworth University
Whitworth brings changes to Rock & Sling: While the journal will continue to publish two print issues a year, there will also be an online version with expanded content and art, podcasts of readings, author profiles and interviews.
The journal will largely stay the same, and will continue to focus on the high-quality literature and art Rock & Sling has been known for. The exploration of faith and its mysteries will continue to serve as the focus of the journal.
Let me introduce to you the editorial staff:
Editor-in-chief: Thomas Caraway
Poetry Editor: Laurie Lamon
Fiction Editor: Vic Bobb
Nonfiction Editor: Julie Riddle
Managing Editor: Annie Stillar
The board of Rock & Sling Press is most pleased to have an active editorial staff of highly successful writers. One of the benefits of housing the journal at Whitworth is that students will have an opportunity to learn the intricacies of the publishing world, assisting in many of the behind-the-scenes activities of the journal.
Pax vobiscum,
Susan Cowger
President Rock & Sling Press
Dear Editors,
I submitted to Rock and Sling last August a personal essay called “Wellspring.” As I have not yet received a response, I am wondering if the piece is still being considered for publication.
I’d appreciate any information on “Wellspring”‘s progress.
Thank you!
